Hello my name is Brian Chui, I’m currently dedicating my time to Star Drift—an illustrated series where I primarily use pencil and ink (my favorite mediums) to explore unknown worlds of the future, dreams, and exploration. The series is now up to #08, and it is very much alive, with many more worlds yet to be explored.

This project began as a personal outlet—a break from decades of commercial work where my skills were focused on solving specific problems. Over time, I felt the need to create space for my own inner creativity, to draw without the need of solving anything particular “problem”. I’ve been especially curious to see what emerges from my pen when I allow my mind to remain unrestricted. So far, the results have been fascinating personally, and I hope you find—and continue to find—curiousity in experiencing them as well.
