Brian Chui is a visual artist who grew up in Hong Kong and now lives and works in New York City. With over two decades he straddles between the worlds of industrial design and commercial illustration.

In 2024, he began devoting time to his on-going creative pursuits — the “Space Drift” illustration series, which breathes life into a fictional futuristic world, and the “Drawing Strangers” video series, creating dynamic portraits of everyday people on trains or anywhere in the city in just minutes.

Brian’s most recent exhibition was held in his hometown in December 2025 at HKICS 10, where he displayed his more current hand-drawn artworks.
